900 families leaving Tirah valley after military operation

 After the military operation “Zarb-e-Azb Khyber 1” launched in Bara Khyber Agency, at least 900 families began leaving their homelands to protect themselves and their family members in Tirah valley of Bara.
The military operation launched to wipe out of the area of miscreants is underway on the forth consecutive day in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency. A great number of families owing to fear of military operation have quitted their areas and migrated to safer places in last few days.
According to the statistics of political tehsildar of Jamrud, 588 families have entered into Jamrud tehsil till now and their registration process at Lala Kandao is underway which will be shared with FATA Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) later on. He further informed that the transportation facility and Rs 2000 cash is being given to each family.
The displaced families, he said were hailing from Aka Khel and Koki Khel tribe residing in volatile Tirah valley of Khyber Agency.
Assistant Political Agent Bara, Nasir Khan when contacted saying that around 300 families have entered into Orakzai Agency after leaving Tirah valley and their registration is continuing at Chamanjana area of Orakzai.
In recent past, at least 3000 families of Tirah valley left their homes after Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan an outlawed faction scattered on the mountains of Tirah valley, compelling them to leave.
As per the media reports, this is not first time, the tribesmen of Bara tehsil are migrating to safe places while around 85000, registered families have already been living since 2009 as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Jalozai camp in Nowshehra district and in restive areas of Peshawar due to military operation and uncertainty. It is worth mentioning here that the first large scale operation had begun on 1st September in 2009 with the names of Darghlam, Bia Darghlam and Khwakh Ba De Sham in Bara Khyber Agency.
